Halo Acute Response Team (HART) are a team of specially trained Paramedic Practitioners who provide Urgent Care in the community. Our HART See & Treat service is available for anyone over the age of 2. We are open 08:00 – 20:00, 7 days a week and we can attend your home, work or care home. Our Paramedic Practitioners will attend and provide a comprehensive, rapid assessment, diagnostics, bloods and if needed we can initiate treatment.

Yes, certain conditions require immediate attention at an A&E department or emergency services. These include:
- Severe chest pain or suspected heart attack
- Severe breathing difficulties
- Signs of stroke
- Major trauma or severe injuries
- Unconsciousness or prolonged seizures

The URGENTCARE+ service is available to individuals over the age of 2 who require prompt medical attention for non-life-threatening conditions. Our paramedic practitioners provide care at your home, workplace, or care facility.
Halo Medical Group has 3 core service divisions:
- Ambulance Services: Medical repatriations and patient transport services.
- Event Medical Cover: Medical support for events, including film and TV productions.
- URGENTCARE+: Paramedic-led urgent care services delivered at your location.
Our Urgent Care at home see and treat service is available to any patients over 2 years old.

- Blood Tests (instant lab standard testing or collection and same-day results*)
- Burns
- Chest Pains (excluding suspected heart attacks)

- Cuts & Grazes
- Diabetic Problems
- Dizziness
- Falls
- Faints
- Flu / Dehydration including repeated vomiting
- Infections (including Urine/Bladder Infections)
- Minor Illnesses
- Prescriptions (including delivery of medications)
- Rashes
- Referral for MRI, CT Scan, or X-ray
- Referral to Specialists (Private Self-pay or private medical insurance)
- Shortness of Breath
- Sprains & Fractures
- Transport to an NHS Hospital
- Urgent Admission to Private Hospital
- Vomiting
These conditions require immediate attention at an A&E department or emergency services. Always call 999 for life-threatening situations:
- Chest Pain or Suspected Heart Attack – Patients with severe chest pain or symptoms of a heart attack should go to A&E or call 999.
- Severe Breathing Difficulties – Severe shortness of breath or suspected respiratory failure.
- Stroke or Symptoms of Stroke – Any signs of a stroke (e.g., slurred speech, facial drooping, or weakness in limbs).
- Major Trauma or Severe Injuries – Including deep wounds, severe head injuries, or large burns.
- Unconsciousness or Seizures – Especially prolonged seizures or sudden loss of consciousness.
- Severe Abdominal Pain – Potentially indicating a surgical emergency (e.g., appendicitis).
- Severe Allergic Reactions (Anaphylaxis) – Including breathing difficulties and swelling.
- Pregnancy-Related Emergencies – Including severe abdominal pain, heavy bleeding, or reduced fetal movement.
- Suspected Broken Bones in Certain Areas – Including hips, pelvis, or spine, or open fractures.
- Severe Mental Health Crises – Including suicidal thoughts, psychosis, or immediate risk to self or others.
- Severe Bleeding – That cannot be stopped or controlled.
- Poisoning or Drug Overdose – Including suspected accidental or intentional overdoses.
- Children Under the Age of 2

- Pregnancy-related conditions
- Major fractures and/or dislocations
- Major burns
- High-risk cardiac conditions
- Major trauma
- Neck injuries
- Severe head injuries
- Strokes
- Mental health conditions
